An assembly and packaging small business was founded in the early 90’s when the economy was booming. Post September 11th, the manufacturing began to slow down and move overseas. It was a matter of survival for our clients to find their voice in order to win over these competitive pressures.
The Eye Opener
In order to keep the doors open, our client needed to
figure out their position, fast. We worked as quickly as possible to develop a comprehensive identity and translate it into a sales message that could be easily disseminated throughout the company and market.
Actions Taken
- Selected and implemented CRM tool to better manage client data, sales pipeline and client relationships
- Took aggressive action to implement a sales compensation plan, job descriptions and marketing communications plan
- Involved business owners and got them to be more engaged in the sales process
- Began to promote and advertise consistently with
messages that were aligned with the buyers' motivators
