How to Fill the Top of the Sales Funnel on a Budget

As a consultant in next generation sales enablement and inbound marketing stuff, I get asked a lot of questions about marketing online as well as sales enablement. I'm always stunned at how smart people are at all the financial and operational aspects of their business but have invested little to no time in understanding the proven aspects of sales and marketing.

Part of my pledge to my clients as well as potential clients is to build a a robust knowledge base for them to access at their convenience within our company blog.

Aside from the obvious pitch at the end of this video for Hubspot(Disclosure:we're a certified Hubspot Partner) this video does a good job provoking the thought about how up to speed your marketing is.

I'd encourage you to carve out time during your next Biz Dev meeting and make sure you have a written plan for lead generation, lead nurturing and lead conversion. Further to that point, much B2B selling still involves people so they need to be accounted for in this written plan.

LET'S FACE IT...Like cars, social media, googling and all that jazz has made selling and marketing a pain in the butt. If you want advice for getting more out of your revenue hot rod you're in the right spot.
